About the Role:

Angels R Us Kidz Academy in Chicago, IL is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans for toddlers

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes early childhood development

Supervise and engage toddlers in structured and free-play activities

Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing regulations

Mentor and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting

Knowledge of DCFS licensing requirements and early childhood best practices

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills

Ability to pass a background check as required by Illinois state regulations

Warm, energetic, and child-centered approach to teaching and caregiving
