About the Role

Speech Kids NY is currently looking for a passionate and reliable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our growing team. This position focuses primarily on working with students in school-based settings, providing high-quality speech and language services.

You will play a key role in supporting children’s communication development and helping them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform speech and language evaluations and interpret results
• Create and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services (articulation, language, fluency, etc.)
• Work with children with a range of communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate session notes and documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings when required
• Monitor and track student progress

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• NYS TSSLD certification (required)
• NYS SLP license (or Clinical Fellow status)
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric population preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation

• $80,000–$119,700 annually — Clinical Fellows (CF), depending on schedule and school calendar (36–42 weeks)
• $113,400–$138,600 annually — Licensed SLPs, depending on schedule and school calendar (36–42 weeks)

Part-time employment is also available on a fee-for-service basis:

• $95 per hour for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
• $110 per hour for Licensed SLPs
