RN Weekend Supervisor

Fowler Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday PM 2:45PM - 11:15PM NOC 10:45 - 7:15AM Part Time The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the night shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, supervising nursing staff, and serving as the clinical leader for the facility during assigned hours. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and support licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants during the night shift. Ensure quality resident care is provided in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. Respond to changes in resident conditions and provide clinical guidance as needed. Complete clinical assessments, investigations, and documentation as required. Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and emergency situations. Monitor compliance with infection prevention, medication administration, and documentation standards. Coach, mentor, and educate nursing staff to promote quality outcomes. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness. Qualifications Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or acute care hospital required. Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Current CPR/BLS certification.
