A day in this role

You clock in at 5:20pm on our 2-2-3 rotation and take ownership of the bottling line. You bring the bottle filler and capper up to speed, guide temporary teammates on safe, quality-first operation, and keep production humming through the night. With pay at approximately $24.00 per hour based on years of experience—and clear opportunity for growth—you play a central role in getting a quality product out the door by 5:30am.

• Operate the bottle filler, capper, decasing, and case packing equipment with a safety-first mindset.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly, execute changeovers to support the schedule, and perform basic maintenance.
• Conduct quality checks, labeling verifications, and in-process inspections; keep accurate records of all inspections.
• Share direction with temporary employees on safety, quality, and line operations.

• Keep safety top of mind: follow area safety requirements, stop unsafe work, and immediately report concerns, accidents, and near misses. Submit safety work orders as needed.
• Be an active participant in the plant’s Behavior Based safety program and support facility-wide safety inspections and accident investigations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area at all times.
• Hit daily production goals while aligning to safety, quality, and regulatory standards; use WI’s and SOP’s to uphold safety, quality, and food safety.
• Own the SOPs for bottling line positions and perform to standard; fold daily maintenance tasks—inspection, lubrication, and equipment setup—into your routine.
• Pursue continuous improvement: elevate performance and quality actions that lead to award-winning outcomes; keep the area and facility at established standards.
• Track performance against departmental KPIs; adhere to SOPs and best practices to maximize quality on the bottling lines and service to internal customers.
• Proactively suggest enhancements to Boston Brands of Maine bottling processes; optimize resources to improve quality inspections, labeling, and general machine operation.
• Communicate effectively across departments; help meet financial objectives by limiting cost and waste without compromising product quality.

• Execute all bottling line tasks: case feeding, quality inspection, case packing, and labeling.
• Work responsibly and in compliance with Company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Accurately complete all required documentation and maintain thorough records of all inspections performed.

Shift: 5:20pm–5:30am, 2-2-3 shift pattern. Pay: approximately $24.00 per hour based on years of experience, with opportunity for growth.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
