You're good at:

• Interacting with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Notifying guests of their wait time and entering their name into the computer seating system and issuing a pager.
• Operating the computer seating system.
• Leading a guest to their table, seating, distributing the menus, and final words.
• Answering the phone and responding to questions concerning the menu, reservations, and the restaurant.
• Addressing difficult situations and guest's complaints through AIM - Apologize, Investigate, and involve Management.
• Communicating clearly. Writing well. Speaking well. Explaining just about anything to anyone.
• Preparing thoroughly and striving for perfection.
• Practicing what you preach.
• Being guest-focused and liking to multi-task.
• Wanting to be part of a team and create a fun – whistle while you work.
• Being happy, trusting, passionate, and determined – Never Settle!
• Putting yourself in the other person's shoes.

Education:

• High School (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications:

• Food Handlers Card (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
