Bonus Amount 10000 Overview We are seeking a Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN). The ICU RN will provide intensive care to patients with life‑threatening conditions, make quick decisions, and show compassion. The RN monitors vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administers IV fluids and communicates effectively with the medical team to modify care plans. Use advanced equipment (cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, capnography) to track vital signs and physiological parameters. Safely administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precise dosing and timing, closely monitoring patient responses to prevent adverse reactions. Manage life‑support devices such as ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors. Provide emotional support and education to patients' families, acting as a liaison to ensure they understand the care being provided. Document all aspects of patient care to ensure continuity and compliance while rigorously maintaining infection control and safety protocols. Qualifications Current and valid state RN license. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance thereafter. Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire. Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintenance thereafter. Preferred Qualifications Completion of Critical Care Course. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred. Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification.
