Unit notes 6/8 or 6/22 orientation Moderate sedation experience required (if anesthesia is not available), prior Cerner charting preferred - Procedures per day: average 3-5 cases, and emergency cases - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH stroke - EMR: Cerner-Surginet - Charge nurse: yes - Weekend requirement: call required on weekends - Holidays: as needed - Call: required - Scrub color: special scrubs provided by department - Hospitalist or intensivist in house: yes - IV team: no - RT 24/7: yes - Pharmacy 24/7: yes - Shifts: varied shifts/8 hours - Floating: yes, float to PACU/ACU - Floor specific orientation: yes, 2-3 days department orientation - Common cases/procedures: EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, biopsies - Additional notes: must have at least 2 years of GI experience
