Unit Clerk/Monitor Technician, Med/Tele, Per Diem, 6pm - 6am

Provides cardiac monitoring for patients of assigned department and regularly performs administrative duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.

Required Skills

Written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills
Basic organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Basic EKG interpretation
Demonstrates team member abilities
Education and/or training related to areas of responsibility

Required Experience

Successful completion of EKG Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech course and/or Certificate
Typing and computer skills
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred

Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Prior hospital/healthcare experience
