Surgical Technologist - Operating Room

Travel Surgical Tech Position in Lorain, OH
The Surgical Tech position in Lorain, OH gives you the opportunity to facilitate surgical procedures and support patient care in a dynamic operating room environment at the facility. You will prepare and maintain sterile fields, provide instruments and supplies, and assist the surgical team throughout procedures. Required qualifications include certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent, and recent operating room experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems are also required. Recommended skills include strong knowledge of aseptic technique, critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
