Music Store Associate
$37.5k - $47kMusic & Arts is seeking a friendly Music Store Associate to support customers in our retail location. In this role, you'll greet students, parents, and educators; recommend band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and sheet music; and support rentals, repairs, and lesson sign-ups. You'll process sales and rentals using POS systems, maintain clean, organized displays, and assist with inventory and merchandising. Working in our collaborative, student-focused culture, you'll help grow music education in your community while developing your skills in customer service and retail sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers including students, parents, and educators
- Recommend instruments, accessories, and sheet music based on needs and budget
- Support instrument rentals, returns, and repair intake
- Process sales and rentals accurately using POS systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing store displays
- Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and merchandising
- Promote and help schedule private lessons and educational services
- Provide basic product demonstrations and explain features and benefits
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals
- Uphold Music & Arts' student-focused, service-oriented culture
