Company Overview Cranial Technologies is dedicated to researching and treating plagiocephaly and ear shape correction in infants, serving over 300,000 babies worldwide. With proven, non‑invasive treatments such as EarWell® and the DOC Band®, we are a leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. Position Summary Nationwide traveling Certified Orthotist based in Chicago, IL – full‑time, traveling to clinics across the United States to treat infants in a pediatric outpatient setting. Travel Requirements Travel to any state where we have a Cranial Technologies clinic – currently 32 states. Typical travel schedule: Monday afternoon/evening to the clinic, work Tuesday–Friday, fly home Friday afternoon/evening. Home on Saturdays and Sundays. Advance travel schedule provided 2+ weeks in advance. Travel every week, to either a local clinic or another state; preference for candidates near a major airport. Company reimburses travel expenses and provides a per diem during visits. Professional Responsibilities Treat infants using the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress, building strong relationships with families. Work in a fast‑paced environment, rotating clinics weekly and collaborating with new teammates. Take over existing caseloads, ensuring continuity of care for families. Background and Training We welcome professionals from diverse backgrounds, including PTs, OTs, RN, certified prosthetist‑orthotists, and certified orthotists. A pediatric background is preferred but not required; a formal training program and mentoring are provided. Qualifications Certified Orthotist. State‑issued REAL ID‑compliant license or equivalent TSA‑accepted travel documentation by start date. Authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship available. Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $90,000–$100,000 + travel bonus. Quarterly performance bonuses and annual raises.
