Provide direct patient intervention by providing health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient as allowable by and consistent with state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.Responsibilities:Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraudComply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store managementUnderstand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalersUnderstand and follow the company guidelines on computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of all medications, devices, supplements and suppliesMaintain departmental standards including keeping clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areasCount, measure and prepare specified product using company best practicesComplete billing procedures adequately to assure best value to the customer and the companyAnswer phone and triage calls and answer inquiries as appropriateUnderstand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, limits on cash shortages and company shrink guidelinesUnderstand and follow the company guidelines on the operation of the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies to prevent loss including tendering electronic fund transactions such as Credit/Debit Cards, EBT and Gift Cards, as well as cash and check transactionsProvide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensingAssist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgementUnderstand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company's policies regarding the sameSupport company health and wellness initiativesPut away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveriesAbility to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environmentAbility to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative mannerAbility to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business informationAbility to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issuesProvide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adultsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationQualifications Minimum:High School Diploma or GEDMust be 18 years oldAbility to handle highly confidential informationMeets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the positionDesired:Any previous comparable experienceAny equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerkEPRN familiarity
