This 13-week assignment provides a rewarding chance to support patient care in Southern Maryland, with convenient access to the Washington, D.C. metro area.

• Setting: On-site women’s health, labor & delivery, and inpatient obstetric care

Job Requirements

• MD or DO with active licensure eligibility
• At least 1 year of recent OB/GYN or OB hospitalist experience
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Active IMLC considered
• Ability to provide solo on-site coverage
• Comfortable working 24-hour shifts in a high-acuity obstetric setting
• Must be able to commute to the La Plata, Maryland area

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB Hospitalist coverage during 24-hour shifts
• Manage an average of 1-2 deliveries per shift
• Perform GYN surgeries as needed
• Round on OB patients and support inpatient obstetric care
• Work independently while maintaining a strong standard of patient care
• Collaborate with the labor & delivery team to support safe, efficient workflow
• Deliver responsive care in a well-equipped environment with dedicated operating space
