Audit ManagerA well-respected Public Accounting firm is adding an Audit Manager to their office. This firm has a wide variety of clientele within many different industries. The firm offers a generous compensation and benefits package. The right candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of external audit with a public firm, CPA, experience leading engagements and teams, be a self-driven person, with a deep technical comprehension along with exceptional interpersonal skills to lead staff and cultivate long lasting relationships with clients.Audit Manager Essential Functions:Supervise, complete, and review multiple audit programs simultaneouslySupervise staff on multiple concurrent engagementsReview and assess completion of auditsCoordinate with clients and the firm to take necessary action on audit findingsEnsure deliverables, and work papers are clear, concise, well written, and conform with firm standards and professional requirementsActively participate in developing audit department training, methodology, and resourcesPrioritize and manage multiple engagements to meet schedule and budget requirementsAudit Manager Qualifications:CPA with 5+ years of experience in public accounting conducting external auditsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferredSignificant supervisory experienceStrong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to manage and develop staffImpeccable oral and written communication skillsStrong background with private and publicly traded companies, experience with telecommunications a plus!Able to travel 15 – 20% throughout the yearBenefits/ Perks:Medical, Dental & Vision offered401k with a 3% match on the first check!
