Receptionist (Blanco County MH Center)

The Receptionist will supportcounselors, physicians, staff, and individuals in the Mental Health CenterClinic. This person will work with the Office Coordinator to cover inperson customer services of reception area and all telephone traffic includingreceiving and routing phone calls and messages appropriately. TheReceptionist and Office Coordinator will also coordinate meetings, collectpayments, initiate paperwork, and complete a multitude of variousadministrative duties to keep the office running smoothly. Thiscompassionate, caring, and supportive team member will connect with the HCMHDDstaff and individuals to provide optimum healthcare and contribute to theoverall wellbeing of members of the community living with mental healthchallenges. You will get to: Maintain aphysical presence at reception and provide customer service for allincoming individuals and phone traffic for the office. Maintain datain the electronic medical records and initiate appropriate consumerpaperwork. Route incomingand outgoing correspondence and perform daily data entry. Set upteleconferencing meetings and manage schedules for team. Complete reportsassigned. Write anddocument articulately while using correct grammar so that documentation isclear and valuable. Maintain compliancewith all client data security control measures. Educate andinstruct individuals served. You'll definitely need: High school diploma/GED Maintain valid Texas state Driver's License and auto insurance. Complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within the first 3 months of employment We'll also want you to: Employexcellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with team andindividuals in care. Maintainaccurate and timely documentation. Sustain a calmdemeanor when under pressure to handle sometimes difficult situations.
