Required Skills:

• Board Certified or truly board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proven experience in low and high-risk obstetric care
• Proficiency in OB ultrasound interpretation (Level I & II)
• Skilled in performing routine and complicated OB procedures, including deliveries and C-sections
• Ability to work efficiently within an EMR system (Meditech Expanse)
• Strong communication and patient management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with NST & FSE fetal monitoring techniques
• Familiarity with hospital-based inpatient and outpatient care settings
• Ability to adapt to the use of APPs and multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one
• Prior locum or hospital-based OB/GYN experience preferred, but exceptional candidates with solid clinic experience will be considered

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to cover scheduled shifts on specific dates, with potential for sporadic coverage afterward
• Provider must be within a 30-minute radius of Bellefontaine during on-call hours
• Travel expenses (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage) reimbursed as applicable
• Ability to work in a busy hospital environment, managing approximately one delivery per day and occasional high-risk cases
