Emergency Medicine - Advanced Practice Provider

Overview Carle Health is seeking an additional Advanced Practice Provider to join our busy Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Opportunity Details Variable/rotating schedule: 12‑hour shifts, 13‑14 shifts required per 4‑week block. Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights. 3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving) / 4 weekends‑shifts per 4‑week block APP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on‑site ED Pharmacists and ED Social Workers. No EM Residency Program Evaluate and treat patients with ESI 1‑5 Level1 Trauma Center with an average of 200‑300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year 24‑hour in‑house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery Excellent benefits package that includes health/dental/life insurance, 403(b) plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage Education Requirements Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Medicine APP experience required Licensure/Certification Requirements Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure or Physician Assistant licensure About Our Community Globally connected, innovative and culturally rich, Champaign‑Urbana is centrally located to Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis and is home to one of the world's great public research universities - the Big Ten University of Illinois. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $63.72 - $82.84/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
