Material Handling Specialist

General Labor / Material Handler Wage: $20.00 - $23.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:30pm - 2:00am (Monday - Thursday) QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a General Labor / Material Handler at a company in Racine, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Responsibilities Remove laser-cut parts from metal sheets safely and efficiently Verify parts against work orders, prints, and production documentation Ensure part counts are accurate and properly documented Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or damaged parts Sort, stage and deliver material to the appropriate departments Maintain material flow throughout the manufacturing process Enter production and inventory data into the ERP system (Global Shop) Communicate effectively with laser operators, production personnel, and supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Assist with inventory control and material handling activities as required Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Previous manufacturing or material handling experience preferred Technical assembly or fabrication experience is highly desirable Basic computer skills Experience using ERP systems, preferably Global Shop is a plus Able to drive a forklift Why Work with QPS?
