Quality technician

job summary:
Out client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician I to join an innovative engineering and manufacturing team in Ormond Beach, FL. In this role, you will test and inspect in-process and finished products, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate across engineering and production departments to ensure compliance with strict quality standards. This full-time production position offers a highly desirable work schedule of 4x10 hour days. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of relevant experience, an understanding of technical specifications and measuring instruments, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Test in-process and finished product against quality, design requirements and compliance standards
  
  
• Ability to prepare and review technical documentation including standard operating procedures, equipment manuals, and discrepancies
  
  
• Maintain tracking of QC events and support tracking of key performance indicators
  
  
  
• Support functional acceptance testing of finished products for pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biosafety applications
  
  
• Inspect incoming assemblies and parts against prints and/or fitment

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
  
  
  
• Experience working in quality system environments based on ISO 9001 or other quality system methodologies

• Ability to read and understand specifications, design documentation including prints and quality control inspection criteria

• Understanding of GD&T
