Title
MS/Tele Float Pool Nurse

Schedule
Nights - 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (36 hours/week)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele nursing experience
- Travel experience required
- Current BLS (BCLS) certification
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring and IV starts
- Epic charting experience
- Experience with telemetry/dysrhythmia recognition
- IV/PICC/central line care and peripheral line starts
- Cardiac monitor management and experience with cardiac drips (no titration)
- Basic wound, trach, and oxygen therapy management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients of varying acuity.
- Monitor patient vitals and telemetry, recognizing and responding to dysrhythmias.
- Perform IV starts and manage central lines as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
- Document all patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Availability: weekdays, some weekends, holidays as needed
- Required vaccinations: Flu vaccine (medical exemptions only)
- Submission deadline for documents: Tuesday prior to start
- Candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as possible after booking.
