Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health using established evaluation tools to identify specific needs and concerns. \n
- Craft detailed and individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's goals and desired outcomes, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities. \n
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to the unique challenges of clients, utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices. \n
- Set achievable therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. \n
- Offer teletherapy sessions to clients, ensuring accessibility for those who may face barriers to in-person visits, while effectively building rapport in a virtual setting. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of sessions and treatment outcomes, adhering to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards necessary for the provision of mental health services. \n
- Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to continually enhance clinical skills and stay updated on innovative therapeutic practices. \n
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Guide Point Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, each requiring tailored approaches that honor their unique backgrounds and experiences. Your role is vital in supporting clients to navigate their mental health journeys, ultimately leading them to empowered and fulfilling lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid and current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. \n
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to foster safe and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients. \n
- A strong foundation of empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and challenges. \n
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, essential for effective management of a diverse caseload. \n
