Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to identify their insurance needs.
• Conduct detailed analysis of client information to recommend suitable insurance products, ensuring clarity and transparency in all communications.
• Negotiate policy terms and coverage options with clients, balancing their needs with company guidelines to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and following up on policy inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing customers through personalized service.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining policy details, and assisting clients throughout the entire sales process.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance when handling sensitive health information, to ensure ethical and legal standards are met.

Experience

• Active Property & Casualty license
• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. (preferred but not required)
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Previous experience in insurance sales or related fields is preferred but not required; a passion for helping others succeed is essential.
• Excellent communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued (preferred but not required)
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with sales goals and performance metrics
