Investment Banking Associate

About the Role

Everet Marsh is connecting with talented investment banking professionals in Denver for potential opportunities with a specialist technology-focused M&A advisory firm. The ideal candidate will have strong transaction execution experience, particularly across software, SaaS, IT services, FinTech or broader technology sectors.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, LBO and comparable company analyses.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations and pitch materials.
• Conduct market research, company valuations and strategic analysis.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and communicate with clients, buyers and investors.
• Work directly with senior bankers throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA qualifications advantageous.

Required Skills

• 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory or corporate finance.
• Previous transaction execution experience, preferably in technology M&A.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Experience preparing transaction documentation and managing due diligence.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Denver-based candidates preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Candidates from boutique investment banks, middle-market advisory firms or technology-focused M&A teams are particularly encouraged to connect.
• Experience with SaaS, enterprise software, IT services, FinTech or digital infrastructure transactions would be highly relevant.
