Radiology Interventional Technologist

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States Employment Type: Full-Time | Day Shift

The Radiology Interventional Technologist provides cardiovascular and radiologic care to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direct supervision of a physician. This role assists physicians during interventional procedures, monitors radiation safety, and supports high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
• Provide radiologic care for the diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
• Perform related duties as assigned in support of procedural workflows

• Monitor and maintain radiation safety standards during procedures
• Follow departmental, regulatory, and safety protocols
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical best practices

• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care throughout procedures

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Oregon Radiographer License (required upon hire)
• ARRT National Certification (required upon hire)
• BLS American Heart Association (required upon hire)

Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience

in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab
