How can you make a difference?

The purpose of the consultancy is to strengthen OIAI’s data analytics and business intelligence capabilities by developing a semi-automated or automated and sustainable approach to assurance mapping and related audit analytics. The assignment will focus on enhancing the existing assurance mapping model and developing a dynamic analytical solution, preferably using Power BI or similar technology, to facilitate the integration, analysis, visualization and updating of assurance coverage data. The consultancy will also develop analytical tools and outputs that can be applied to related OIAI processes, including the audit universe, risk assessment, audit planning and annual reporting. The assignment is temporary and output-based, with defined analytical products, milestones and knowledge-transfer deliverables to be completed within the consultancy period.

The consultant will support further development of OIAI’s assurance mapping and related audit analytics. The work will include maintaining and enhancing the existing Excel-based assurance map; consolidating and integrating relevant assurance and audit data; developing a more automated and dynamic solution, preferably in Power BI or similar technology; and producing analytical tools and visualizations to support assurance mapping, the audit universe, risk assessment, planning and reporting. The assignment will also include testing, documenting and supporting the handover of the developed solutions.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have...

Minimum requirements: 

• Education:  Completion of secondary/high school diploma or equivalent.  Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools, use of AI and agentic AI tools such as Copilot, advanced Excel, data structuring and analysis, automation, and working with large or complex datasets.
• Analytical foundation in data analytics, business intelligence, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, information systems, or another relevant quantitative/analytical field.
• Work Experience:
• At least two years of relevant work experience in data analytics, data management, business intelligence, data visualization, analytical research or other related areas. Relevant experience may include internships, academic projects or other practical assignments involving data extraction, structuring, analysis and presentation.
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI or similar business intelligence/data visualization tools; experience in cleaning, structuring and integrating data from multiple sources; ability to develop dashboards and automated analytical solutions; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and ability to document analytical processes and present data clearly to non-technical users.
• Language Requirements:
• Fluency in English is required.
• Desirables:
• Experience with Python, SQL, PowerShell or other data automation tools; familiarity with audit, assurance, risk management or performance reporting; and experience working with large or complex organizational datasets.
