- Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessment tools and observational techniques.
- Craft individualized treatment plans that align with both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
- Foster one-on-one therapy sessions centered around issues of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Engage in collaboration with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to create integrated care strategies.
- Provide essential education to patients and their families to encourage progress beyond the clinical environment.
- Support occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
- Document clinical findings diligently while adhering to state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
- Pursue professional growth through continuous education and participation in peer-driven collaborative efforts.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification not yet obtained.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within 30 days of employment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies across diverse age groups, showing keen insight into both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster meaningful interactions with patients, their families, and your interdisciplinary team.
