Retail Associate
SLA Worldwide is seeking a Retail Associate to support daily operations for Next Stop DC while also assisting with hybrid responsibilities for 1920 Merch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, culture-driven retail, merchandising, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will help create an engaging customer experience while supporting inventory, merchandising, social media engagement, and operational tasks across both brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service aligned with brand values and customer experience standards.
- Assist customers with merchandise selection, product knowledge, and promotions.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and operational procedures.
- Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately.
- Assist with merchandise organization and fulfillment support for 1920 Merch & Next Stop D.C.
- Support marketing initiatives, social media content, and community engagement efforts.
- Work collaboratively with management and team members to support daily operations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable multitasking.
- Passion for history, culture, retail, or storytelling brands.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced airport and retail environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Energetic, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
