Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you'll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Minimum of 5 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR technologist in a high volume hospital setting
• Current CST certification required
• Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Ability to function independently in a fast paced surgical environment

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts
• Shift Days: Monday-Thursday
• Shift Hours: 0645-1715
• Call coverage required after normal business hours and on weekends
• May be asked to float to other specialty service lines in the OR during downtime
