Government Technology Consultant

Position: Government Technology Consultant We’re seeking a customer-facing Government Technology Consultant who can confidently lead product demonstrations, bridge communication between Product and Sales, and help customers understand how solutions solve real operational challenges. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a government/public sector background who thrives in presentations and consultative conversations. Responsibilities Lead engaging product demos for prospects and customers, often independently Partner closely with Sales and Product teams to align customer needs with solutions Translate business challenges into clear, value‑driven product presentations Support proof‑of‑concepts, discovery sessions, and technical evaluations Collaborate with internal teams on strategy and brainstorming for opportunities Represent solutions in finalist presentations, workshops, and customer meetings Gather market/customer feedback to help shape future product direction Requirements 5+ years of overall professional experience Experience delivering product demos or customer presentations Background in government, public sector, or municipal environments strongly preferred Strong communication skills with confidence presenting on Zoom and in virtual meetings Ability to work cross‑functionally between Product, Sales, and Customer Success Consultative mindset with strong problem‑solving skills Self‑starter who can own demos independently while collaborating as part of a team Desired Skills and Experience Public Sector & Government Operations Expertise Client‑Facing Presentations, Virtual Product Demos & Video Conferencing Platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet) AI Tools, Prompt Engineering & Research Automation Cross‑Functional Collaboration (Sales, Product & Customer Success) Data Analysis, Technical Writing & Reporting (SQL, Tableau, R, Google Workspace) Benefits Competitive salary (range based on experience, role, location) Discretionary bonuses Medical, dental, and vision benefits Company 401(k) retirement plan Strong work‑life balance and supportive culture Compensation Details Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location, and other business and organizational needs.
