Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care at a healthcare organization located in Springfield, MA. The position involves working in a 32-bed Medical Intensive Care and Neuro Critical Care Unit, providing critical care to patients with conditions such as sepsis, ESRD, AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. The nurse will float to Medical HVCC, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), and Intermediate Care (IMC), with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in NIHSS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association); 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit with a focus on critical care; experience in both Medical ICU and Neuro Critical Care units preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a Level 1 ICU; additional experience in Medical ICU setting preferred
• Additional Information: Looking for strong ICU nurses with good backgrounds. A nurse with only 1 year of experience or new graduate may be considered too new for this unit.
