Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient respiratory care plans under physician orders.

• Administer ventilator support and monitor patient response and safety.

• Track and report KPI metrics for department performance and patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Perform diagnostic pulmonary function tests and document results.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment outcomes.

• Participate in on-site care rounds and contribute to care plans.

• Demonstrate accountable ownership of outcomes within assigned territory or unit.

• Educate patients and families on therapy, devices, and self-care strategies.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance care delivery.

• Support development goals by pursuing continuing education and certifications.

Experience/Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with current licensure and credentials.

• Proven experience managing ventilator support and patient response monitoring.

• Ability to document care plans and outcomes in electronic health records precisely.

• Commitment to continuing education and pursuing certifications to advance practice.

• Experience performing diagnostic pulmonary function tests and interpreting results.

• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams for care optimization.

• Demonstrated accountability for outcomes within a defined territory or unit.

• Capable of contributing to KPI tracking and department performance reporting.

• Evidence of patient and family education capabilities on therapy and device use.

• Adaptability to a growth-oriented, results-driven culture with contract employment.
