Network Operations Technician

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Ops Tech II will manage complex network systems troubleshooting, isolation, and maintenance activities for Professional Services Control Center customers. Key Responsibilities Own incidents from start to finish in a blended Network Operations Center (NOC) and Repair environment Resolve complex network problems involving network hardware, fiber, and power Perform network monitoring and maintenance activities using software and hardware tools Required Qualifications 1-3 years of managed DWDM network support and troubleshooting experience Experience with optical transport equipment, particularly DWDM Proficiency in navigating network devices and understanding security protocols Experience with Ciena, Infinera, and Cisco equipment Ability to obtain and/or maintain an NSA security clearance
