About the Role:

Responsible for credit, equipment and underwriting decisions within assigned limits and consistent with the policies and programs of the company. Conduct financial analysis and periodic relationship performance evaluations based on FinPac’s annual review guidelines.

• Make credit decisions within assigned limits consistent with FinPac and Bank credit policies and guidelines

• Review credits above assigned limit and make recommendations to credit management.

• Review designated programs and perform financial analysis on Vendor/TPO partners as part of annual or periodic performance reviews.

• Spread financial statements, complete risk rating assessments and complete formal credit memos using tools and formats designated by FinPac and/or the bank.

• Act as liaison between Credit and Business Development to evaluate and recommend programmatic changes based on portfolio performance.

• Review program and transaction documentation to assess risk issues and elevate concerns as appropriate.

• Distribute material and explain to underwriting teams updated guidance on portfolio review findings and risk considerations.

• Troubleshoot, analyze and remedy internal issues in a timely and efficient manner within established guidelines.

• Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

• Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

• Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

• May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

• Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.

About You:

• High School graduate or equivalent. Required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and business. Preferred

• 5+ years Credit underwriting experience in commercial lending, prior equipment finance experience preferred.

• Familiarity with financial statement spreading tools and commercial finance risk rating methods

• Familiarity with end-user documentation and Vendor/relationship governance agreements.

• Adaptable and resourceful, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels of management.

• Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for independent judgment and successful outcomes.

• Must maintain confidentiality, discretion, and integrity.

• High proficiency with Microsoft tools including Word and Excel

The pay range for this role is $29.80 - $40.00.

The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
