Unified Communications Telecom AdministratorVamonos IT is seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Telecom Administrator responsible for the provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise voice and Unified Communications platforms. This role ensures reliable, secure, and high-quality communication services throughout all of our Federal Customer's locations. The ideal candidate will manage endpoint provisioning, carrier coordination, user access support, escalation handling, and continuity-of-mission communications while supporting modernization initiatives and the transition to a Microsoft Teams-based UC environment.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong expertise in telecommunications and UC technologies, including:Avaya Government Cloud telephonyCisco Unified Communications infrastructureMicrosoft Teams collaboration servicesProficiency in endpoint provisioning and lifecycle managementExperience coordinating with telecommunications carriers and service providersExperience supporting enterprise communication platforms and ensuring SLA complianceTechnical knowledge of hybrid cloud and on-premises environmentsAbility to manage escalations and continuity-of-mission communicationsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesFamiliarity with modernization and cloud migration initiativesExperience managing vendor relationships and escalationsMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceMust be local as this is a 100% onsite role.Preferred QualificationsCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration or equivalent certificationMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certificationExperience supporting federal agencies or enterprise telecommunications environmentsExperience with enterprise UC modernization programsResponsibilitiesProvision, configure, and maintain enterprise voice and UC platformsCoordinate carrier services and telecommunications support activitiesManage user access, endpoint deployment, and communication servicesResolve incidents, troubleshoot issues, and support service restorationMonitor platform performance and ensure compliance with established SLAsSupport continuity-of-mission communication requirementsAssist with migration and modernization projects, including Microsoft Teams adoptionWork closely with vendors, customers, and technical teams to maintain operational excellenceMaintain technical documentation and operational proceduresAbout Vamonos ITOur experienced team of technical Subject Matter Experts and Professional Project Managers deliver solutions to the toughest challenges in enterprise cloud computing and infrastructure management within the Homeland Security and Federal civilian landscape.
