Job Summary:
Oncology Clinic Nurse in MINOCQUA, Wisconsin. This position involves working within a radiation oncology unit in an outpatient setting, providing specialized patient care for individuals diagnosed with various cancers including prostate, head and neck, breast, lung, and others. The role focuses on patient education, administering contrast infusions, and monitoring for radiation side effects in a team environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, roughly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid professional license, minimum two years of oncology or clinic nursing experience, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, experience with peripheral IV insertion, power port access and de-access, contrast infusion during computed tomography, triage skills for contrast reactions, knowledge of radiation side effects and patient education
• Preferred Qualifications: Radiation Oncology Nurse Certification (ONCC), nurse aide or medical assistant experience in clinic settings
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: This outpatient radiation oncology setting utilizes Cerner and Aria electronic medical records systems. No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements. No telehealth responsibilities on this unit. Scrubs can be any solid color. The charge nurse does not take an assignment.
