ABOUT OUR AGENCY: I opened my agency in 1990, and today I'm fortunate to work alongside a team of eight talented professionals. I actually began my career as a team member right out of college before stepping into agency myself, so I understand the role from the ground up. I'm a proud graduate of Elon University, and outside the office I'm a husband and father of two.

Community involvement is a big part of who I am. I stay active in local events, support a number of charities, and give back to many of the area schools.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Mike Shoffner - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers' success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
