Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Ob/Gyn (Nights)

As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services, including prenatal, obstetric, and gynecological care. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct examinations and diagnostic tests
• Guide patients through pregnancy and childbirth
• Perform necessary surgical procedures as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients on women's health issues
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in Ob/Gyn

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology preferred
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7p-7a

Delivery Volume: 700-800+ annually

Level I Nursery

Duties: Deliveries, triage of ED patients, answering patient calls, rounding on ED GYN patients, and rounding on patients in L&D/MBU

Support Staff: CNM

Must be board-certified
