We are hiring dependable and personable Badge Scanners for an event in Detroit, MI. This day-shift position pays $20.00 per hour and involves checking attendee badges, maintaining a professional presence at designated event areas, and assisting attendees with basic questions and directions.

Responsibilities

• Check and scan attendee badges using a handheld scanning device.
• Maintain an assigned position at meeting rooms, check-in desks, cafés, theaters, forums, or ballroom entrances.
• Monitor the scanner’s battery power throughout the shift.
• Pick up and return the scanner each day.
• Assist attendees with questions about sessions and event areas.
• Know the locations of restrooms and food options in the assigned area.
• Greet attendees in a friendly and personable manner.
• Work professionally with supervisors and other event staff.
