Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Milwaukie, OR | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM | $21.00/hour | Temp-to-Hire

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy keeping things moving? We’re looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a great warehouse team in Milwaukie! In this role, you’ll help keep incoming and outgoing shipments on track, maintain accurate inventory, and provide friendly service to customers.

What You'll Do

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming products and materials.
• Pull, verify, package, and ship customer orders.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Prepare shipping documents and certificates as needed.
• Assist customers with will-call orders.
• Perform cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with VMI delivery preparation.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, customer service, materials management, procurement, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic product knowledge.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP-B1, UPS WorldShip, or FedEx Ship Manager is a plus.
• A two-year technical degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and move inventory.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and tools.
