An international manufacturer is seeking a Director of Accounting to help build and elevate the accounting department. This individual will play a key role in strengthening financial processes, supporting decision‑making across the firm, and helping the company scale effectively. Key Responsibilities Oversee the close process end-to-end, ensuring timelines are met and outputs are accurate. Review areas including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis. Partner closely with commercial teams to support areas such as customer programs, revenue recognition, accruals, and trade spend accounting. Help manage the accounting implications of promotional activity, customer deductions, and various sales-related programs. Be the primary point of contact for auditors and assist with external reporting and compliance. Lead and develop members of the accounting team while helping to build a scalable structure. Identify opportunities for system improvements and automation, including enhancements to current ERP tools. Key Qualifications Bachelor's in accounting or finance. CPA strongly preferred. 8+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, food & beverage, or retail product company required. 3 years of leadership experience required. Experience in PE-backed, multi-entity, and/or international environments preferred. Exposure to supply chain finance, demand planning, and working capital optimization preferred. Experience with revenue recognition, standard costing, inventory accounting, and trade spend. ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr Selby Jennings
