Job Description
The Shipping & Receiving Lead oversees all logistics related to inventory management and shipment of non-perishable general merchandise. This role leads a medium-sized team of 6 to 10 members, ensuring smooth coordination of shipping and receiving operations while maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accuracy and stock levels
- Coordinate outgoing and incoming shipments
- Supervise a team of 6-10 shipping and receiving staff
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
- Plan logistics to optimize workflow and delivery schedules
- Enforce safety compliance across all operations
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Generate reports on shipping and inventory status
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
