Transportation Design Manager

Overview Milhouse is looking for an energetic and driven Transportation Design Section Manager to join our downtown Chicago office. As the Section Manager of Transportation Design, you will be responsible for managing your own team of talented engineers, overseeing projects, and ensuring quality delivery for our clients. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced project manager who excels at leading exciting highway or railroad design projects. This position reports directly to Milhouse’s VP of Civil / Transportation and works in a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, work-life balance, and professional growth. What you will do Lead and manage a transportation design team, providing mentorship and technical guidance Oversee and assist with the development and production of highway plans and specifications from start to finish for Illinois clients Maintain / grow positive client relationships and assist with business development efforts to continue expansion of our transportation project portfolio Coach, mentor and develop staff Promote a culture of innovation and work-life balance Assure that Quality Assurance/Quality Control is being performed on every project Work on billable projects for a majority of your time. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
