SAP PMMO Consultant

The SAP PMMO Consultant will be responsible for supporting Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) and Grouping Pegging & Distribution (GPD) processes by gathering requirements, configuring solutions, and ensuring successful implementation in SAP S/4 environments. The role involves business process alignment, documentation, testing, and integration across manufacturing, logistics, and controlling functions.

Experience in SAP PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization) and GPD processes.

Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.

Experience in requirements gathering with business process owners.

Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Experience in functional specification authoring.

Knowledge of MRP concepts and planning strategies.

Experience in configuration and documentation of SAP solutions.

Experience in process flows, key decision documentation, and business-driven configuration assessments.

Experience in test planning for standard and custom SAP objects.

Experience in change management and reporting processes.

Experience in functional integration with Material Master MRP views.

Experience in aerospace and defense or similar manufacturing environments preferred.

Gather requirements with business process owners and complete business-driven configuration assessments.

Plan and develop workshop materials including system demos and presentation decks.

Manage configuration and documentation activities.

Prepare process flows and key decision documentation.

Support authorization and security design activities.

Perform test planning for standard and custom objects.

Support change management and reporting activities.

Develop functional specifications for SAP solutions.

Ensure integration with MRP views of Material Master.

Support planning strategies including MTO, use-up, interplant, reorder point, lead time scheduling, co-products, subcontracting, capacity planning, and quota arrangements.

Work with BoMs, routings, and manufacturing processes in aerospace and defense environments.

Support logistics, controlling, and project systems integration.

Contribute to maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) process alignment.

Strong knowledge of SAP manufacturing and logistics processes.

Experience with aerospace and defense industry processes.

Understanding of project systems and controlling integration.

Strong SAP configuration and functional design skills.

Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Knowledge of MRP, BoMs, and routing processes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in complex manufacturing environments.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

SAP functional experience in manufacturing and planning modules preferred.
