Telephone Operator

To support a growing practice, the part-time Telephone Operator II will efficiently manage incoming calls, relay messages, and respond to urgent patient inquiries while working remotely after an initial training period in Newark. Key responsibilities Courteously answers and connects incoming calls to the appropriate extensions Responds to emergency calls and directs them to clinical staff as needed Performs operator functions, including triaging calls and maintaining the in-house paging system Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of three years office experience, preferably in a medical setting Ability to operate office equipment, including telephones and computers Vision correctable to 20/20 and normal hearing range for telephone contacts Virtual Vocations Inc
