About the Position

Job Title: COTA - Inpatient Therapy Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: COTA Inpatient Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: State License required Certifications: BLS required; Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only) Must-Have: First-time travelers are welcome Description: COTA position available in Inpatient Therapy. The shift is 5 days a week during daytime hours. Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role. Required certifications include BLS and a valid state license. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Previous travel experience is also preferred. The role involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The daily census for the unit is 265 patients. Staff will support interdisciplinary care approaches. Therapists will handle diverse diagnoses and treatment plans. Specific skills include acute care, patient and family education, and safety management. Therapy travelers should be prepared for patient care responsibilities and interventions.
