Job Title: Recruiter Location: Houston area, Texas Job Type: Contract Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM Pay Rate: $28.00 – $34.00/hr (DOE) Position Overview: LHH is proactively seeking a driven and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our client’s team on a contract basis in the Houston area. This role will support full-cycle recruiting efforts by sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates while partnering closely with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. As a Recruiter, you will play a key role in attracting top talent, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination. Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies. Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and other recruiting tools. Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit. Coordinate interviews, schedules, and communication between candidates and hiring teams. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in applicant tracking systems (ATS). Provide a positive candidate experience through clear and timely communication. Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and pipeline activity. Assist with job postings, employer branding efforts, and recruitment campaigns. Ensure compliance with company hiring practices and policies. Support onboarding coordination and other HR-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. Experience: 2+ years of recruiting experience (agency or corporate). Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and hiring managers. Organization: Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in candidate tracking, scheduling, and documentation. Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt sourcing strategies and overcome recruiting challenges. Teamwork: Collaborative and proactive approach when working with cross-functional teams.
