Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during diagnostics, explaining every step with transparency and warmth
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are maintained
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document diagnostic procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed
