The Overton Brook VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time, Section Chief of Neurology. Come taste the unique downhome southern-style cuisines and see the lively culture here in the historic city of Shreveport, LA. If you are looking for entertainment, Festival Plaza located in downtown Shreveport hosts over 60 festivals every year from the Mud Bug Festival to the Red River Revel, you are sure to be entertained year-round. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and exceptional health of our Veterans. The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is fully dedicated to providing top-quality medical care by serving and honoring America s Veterans.

Highlights of this position include:

Potential starting base salary: $380,000 - $335,000
Daily schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery from any U.S. State
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Bored Certified

26 days paid vacation; 13 days paid sick time per year w/unlimited carry over; 11 paid holidays

Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement for CME s (must be full-time with board certification)
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), if approved
