Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to newborns in a fast-paced hospital environment. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess critically ill neonatal patients and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs, medical equipment, and overall patient status continuously.
• Educate families on neonatal care, medication administration, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and interventions accurately.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience.
• Strong knowledge of neonatal care protocols and equipment.
• Ability to work in a 12-hour night shift schedule.
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• CPR certification and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
