Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is now seeking to fill full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) positions. $10,000 sign on bonusPosition Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide care for patients with a variety of behavioral health disorders whose ages range from adolescent through geriatric. The LPN/LVN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The LPN/LVN implements therapeutic interventions developed by the treatment team and tracks patient progress towards treatment plan goals.Includes, but is not limited to:Provides direct care to patients on assigned unit.Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments.Establishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniques.Available Schedules:Day: 7:00am to 7:30pmNight: 7:00pm to 7:30amAbout Our Organization: Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is located on the beautiful Ashley River near Charleston, SC.
